We are now at HALLOWEEN CRUNCH TIME!!

OMG!  Where did the week go? ( You'll see in a few posts where this week has gone for me!).  So how do you make Halloween an Event at your home?  The most fun my family has had is with block parties!  There is plenty of time to rally the neighbors for a driveway potluck. Volunteer your driveway. Ask the neighbors, or your children's friend's families, to bring a dish to share. Easy alternative?...order pizza and sodas and share the cost. Be sure the kiddos all eat, then take turns as the responsible parent to escort your trick-or-treaters.  Set up a table on the driveway where each family has a bowl of their give-away candy.  The parents spend the evening socializing and the kiddos have a great time trick-or-treating with their friends!  So much better than spending the evening answering the front door!
