Cinco de Mayo=The start of Summer

I know that Summer doesn't officially start for quite a few more weeks, but I am SOOOO ready!

I'm a SoCal native and I love my sunshine. Here in Sunny San Diego Cinco de Mayo is truly the start of Summer party time. What are your plans for Cinco de Mayo Sunday? Let's get this Summer started!!

Sombreros, some Coronas on ice, maybe some Mexican sodas, carne asada and  fresh salsa are on the menu around our home!! YUM.  There are a few things you can do that make it a great little escape from the day-to-day on Cinco de Mayo!

Fun little decorations and tableware you can pick up at the DOLLAR store or BigLlots (plastic bins for the drinks) makes for an inexpensive, fun day with family. Colors- and lots of them. You can go as crazy as you like. And of course a piñata is a MUST (you know for the kids) so its candy for the little ones, and Coronas for you :) A sombrero with little colorful bowls inside the rim make a great

centerpiece. Fill the bowls with chips, salsa and guacamole! Here are some little inspirations to make it a great time for everyone! Have fun, be SAFE and have a great Cinco de Mayo,
and don't forget to have a some Margaritas!

I love the disposable "chafing dishes" that are available at Costco or Smart and Final. I keep the stand and throw away the dirty serving trays! Easy clean-up. Bright flowers from the local nursery, with a little ongoing care, will add color to your yard for months to come.

Just a few inexpensive purchases and you are ready at a moments notice for a Summer get-together!  Just put them away in a super handy place and enjoy the time with your family and friends. That's the Planned to a T Way!
