How did you celebrate Mardi Gras?? Planned to a T celebrated with St. Mary's School at the California Center for the Arts!! We were asked to design and install all of the decor for the event. What a privilege! The occasion was the 60th Anniversary of the school to be celebrated at their annual Fat Tuesday Dinner Auction! 400 guests, cocktail area, silent auction and registration area, ballroom...on a budget of $500 and use of some boxes of various leftovers...
Yes!! We can do it!
This is just the sort of challenge I love! I had a great time planning with Sasha the Chairperson of the event and all her wonderful volunteers. So many talented and hard working people! How could we lose? There was fun planned for each moment of the evening.
Guests were greeted with
a Dixieland Band to start
the Party Spirit!!
Bead and programs
give everyone a peek at what the evening
would hold.
Masks and,
of course, cocktails
while enjoying the music.
Once everyone was
registered... and had been
given their auction
paddles...
The silent auction
could begin...So many
awesome gifts had been
donated to the event.
Then the guests could check out the
Grand Ballroom...with lots of
plumes, beads, and crystals.
For an evening of dinner, dancing,
and frivolity!!
What a great way to celebrate 60 years
of fine educational tradition.
Can't wait until next year!! The ideas are
already starting to spin...
