Before the Wedding comes the Engagement!!

I'm sure that there will be quite a few men proposing to their sweethearts this Christmas! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I bet those ladies will remember more of the details of their engagement, than of their wedding day.  This past Spring there was a proposal and engagement party that I know one young lady will never forget. 

It all started with what appeared to be a day of wine tasting with their best friends.  What she didn't know is that she was going to be proposed to at the first winery! 

Then their families and many of their friends would be joining them for more wine tasting...

   and a picnic in a winery...What a day they will never forget.

Mis Quinces y Mas Expo!!

We spent Sunday at the Mis Quinces y Mas Expo at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.  It was a beautiful event in a beautiful venue. Met so many nice people who are passionate about what they do. The entertainment was GREAT and we were right next to the stage. Lots of lovely girls in beautiful gowns, music and dancing! Lori Redman provided yummy mini cupcakes and, of course, we had trick or treating at our booth. 

This was the booth that people were talking about!! Not your typical Quinceanera style. But nobody said Planned to a T is your typical Event Design Group!

We offered a raffle for a Quinceanera Bouquet provided by Maria's Flowers in Vista. Come back to our blog to find out who the lucky girl is!! Not telling you yet!!

Quinceanera! The Ultimate Girley Day!!

I love planning parties!!  We usually think of a Wedding as the ultimate party. BUT planning a Quinceanera is even MORE ULTIMATE!  The day is all about "The Birthday Girl".   We had the honor of managing "Dania's" Day this Summer. 

 

There were months of preparation.

Damas to choose..

Practicing the dances...

Invitations to design and mail...

Colors and flowers to choose...

Then the big day arrived...A special hair-do befitting a princess...

Her proud parents escorting her into Her Mass. The beautiful gown was selected by her Grandmother from a designer in Mexico City!! Absolutely Stunning!

 In the meantime preparations were being made for her Party. A beautiful venue. Large area with room for a Club Lounge for Dania to hang out with her friends. Complete with special festive drinks and lights.

The event was Pretty in Pink!!

 It wouldn't be a girl's special day without roses! Lots of Pink Roses!!




  

And the cycle begins again with

another little girl dreaming of her day.
