Happy Anniversay Kristen & Nick

One year ago today I was in Mesa, Arizona coordinating the wedding of Kristen and Nick! What I BEAUTIFUL day it was. So much love. So many friends. Perfect to start of a new family. Little did they know on that day that one year later they would be the proud parents of their precious baby boy.

Congratulations to Kristen, Nick and Caden!

Retro Wedding Trends!

The Hottest Wedding Trends for 2013!

by our Intern Nicole Durazo!

Personalization, romance and a little bit of a throwback! The long laced sleeve like Princess Kate wore is definitely a favorite go-to among brides. That translates into the cake, we all love great tasting cakes, but great LOOKING cakes are a must too! Delicate, romantic flowers; and the best part: made from sugar, so guess what they are EDIBLE :) Next you have invitations.. we are all used to the typical wedding fonts out there, but brides are changing it up now-a-days. Signature fonts that reflect them is the way to go. you have so many options, you aren't limited to just one style. Flowers are always beautiful, but you can change those up to! Fresh, organic, green(s), you aren't just limited to those big bouquets of roses, GET CREATIVE. And lastly you have your something blue. Instead of wearing your something blue in your jewelry brides are opting for SHOES! Which I think is SUPER cute. love the contrast of the blue and white. That's it for now, we'll be back soon with some more great tips!

Here's what the Editor in Chief of The Knot has to say!

Chippy Windows!! I love them!!

Are they beautiful or WHAT! I can't wait to see these at an amazing party or event. There are so many things you can do that are unique for your special day. The top sections (or bottoms depending on what way you hold them) are windows ;-) The bottom sections are chicken wire...how fun is that. How about hanging your escort cards from the chicken wire with clothes-pins?

Just like this...
If you plan on having your wedding outdoors, this is a very fun edition! Clothes-pins can hold the cards in place, then be replaced with pictures.

And don't forget those windows! Put some cute engagement photos in there.Customize the framing to reflect your wedding colors! The possibilities are endless. Make it country-chic, and it's sure to be a hit with your guests.

Or maybe you are having a graduation party, or Sweet 16, or any birthday for that matter. What a great way to display pictures! Easy Peasy with some clothes-pins or paperclips with ribbons.

Or use them at the beginning of a buffet line with the menu!

Or...or...or....See where I'm going with this? Give me a call! Let's take these girls out to PAAAH-TAYY!

Who is dreaming of a chandelier at their event??

Looking for that perfect bit of glam to add to your event?Add a beautiful chandelier. I've been looking high and low for one just this sparkly and finally found it!

This chandy is all silver and crystal (looks a little brassy in this pic) and is available to Planned to a T Brides and Partiers.  Hang it above the dance floor at the reception, above the cake, above the head table, in your ceremony gazebo, ANYWHERE! Use your imagination, the possibilities are endless. So glad she's mine ;-) but I'll share...

Who just has to have it? Call me!
